On 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), Marisa Tomei responded enthusiastically to Lady Gaga's statement that she wants the actress to play her in a movie. Tomei seemed especially open to the idea because, she joked, they're both fans of outlandish fashion.

"I'm thrilled. I was pretty surprised," Tomei said of Gaga's comment.

"We both wear similar [clothes]," Tomei joked, taking in photos of Gaga's typically bizarre get-ups, including a dress that appeared to be made entirely of bubbles. "I don't know how she fit into my bubble costume."
