When they had to consider who could be Hope's guardians should anything happen to them, we got a fun trip down memory lane of some of the colorful characters we've met so far in this first season of 'Rasing Hope' (Tue., 8:30PM ET on FOX).

One of the signatures of Greg Garcia's prior series, 'My Name Is Earl,' was the cornucopia of recurring crazy people he populated the town with, and it looks like we're well on our way to creating another batch of them.

In the end, Jimmy settled on Sabrina. Not just because she's a main cast member and he's madly in love with her, but because she is about the sanest person on the show. And that includes Jimmy and his family.

That craziness is just another one of the reasons that 'Raising Hope' is one of the best new series of the seasons, and deserving of all the accolades it's receiving. Now, if FOX could just find a worthy companion series to it, they could have a solid night of comedy.

Sorry, 'Traffic Light,' you're just not cutting it so far. Though, admittedly you are better than most of FOX's recent forays into live-action sitcoms.
