'Boston Rob' Mariano Is Just Messing With People Now on 'Survivor: Redemption Island' (VIDEO)

At this point "Boston Rob" Mariano's just having fun with the game of 'Survivor: Redemption Island' (Wed., 8PM ET on CBS). He's already got the majority of his tribe in his pocket, and to top it off this week, they actually managed to win a Challenge without the help of the opposing tribe throwing it.

Now Grant thinks he and Rob are part of this tight alliance. He also thinks the two of them have something no one else does.

In the Reward coffee jar, Grant saw the newest clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol. You may recall that Rob already has the Idol, so none of this really matters. But the days are long out there, so why not have some fun?

Rob and Grant manage to sneak the clue out of camp, and then Rob sends Grant back to put the coffee back so they won't be suspected. As soon as Grant slips away, Rob goes to his own hiding place and swaps this newer and more direct clue to the location of the Idol for the vague and nonsensical one he already had.

This way, Grant is fumbling around in the dark, and maybe the game can continue for a while longer with no one knowing that Rob already has the Idol. He's in a pretty great position, after this episode, to make a long run in this game.
