Lara Spencer ABC NewsLara Spencer is an 'Insider' no more. Spencer, the current anchor of entertainment news show 'The Insider,' will leave the program for a gig at ABC News.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Spencer will become the lifestyle anchor on ABC's 'Good Morning America.' Spencer has been with CBS and 'The Insider' for seven seasons. She was also a contributor to CBS's 'The Early Show.'

The move to ABC is a return home for Spencer. Prior to joining CBS, Spencer was a correspondent on 'GMA' and New York's WABC.

"We are grateful for all of her contributions since day one of 'The Insider,'" Linda Bell Blue, executive producer of 'The Insider,' said. "We respect her decision to accept this exciting opportunity and wish her every success in her new job."

'Entertainment Tonight's' Kevin Frazier was recently announced as 'Insider' co-host. A new anchor will be announced soon.

Speculation ran rampant that Spencer would replace Mary Hart when she departs 'Entertainment Tonight' in May. However, her seat was filled by former 'Access Hollywood' host Nancy O'Dell.

I will realllyyy miss Lara Spencer on The Insider. It will not be the same. The Insider was "Her Show". I watched her all the time. I thought something was up when she didn't come back to Hollywood with Kevin to do the show. I'm glad I got to see her last show....I hope she does well.
