Pee-wee Herman Suggests New Superhero Named Spider-Pee (VIDEO)

According to Pee-wee Herman, staging a production as complicated as his Broadway show can be tough. And yet, despite the difficulties, Herman would absolutely return to the stage, he said on 'The Rachael Ray Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

"It was very complicated to put it all together. It took a long time because it was very ambitious technically," said Herman. "There's puppets and there's flying and all kinds of things happening."

Herman added that he'd enjoy another run on Broadway, and might even consider lending his talents as director to the famously-troubled Spider-Man musical 'Turn Off the Dark.' But, of course, there would need to be a few changes, such as the renaming of the main character to "Spider-Pee."

Most bizarre thing to me about the Pee-Wee incident is that some jurisdiction was actually paying law enforcement officers to sit in a darkened porn theater to watch the patrons to catch somebody pulling his own dick. Those "public servants" could have been put to better use scraping dog doodoo off the sidewalks.
