Working with a music legend like Paul McCartney could be the highlight of anyone's career, but not as far as Steve Martin is concerned. On 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), Martin joked that the honor of recently collaborating with the ex-Beatle was, in fact, all McCartney's.

Martin released a second bluegrass album this week entitled 'Rare Bird Alert,' and McCartney lends vocals to a song written by Martin for his wife Anne.

"I've got to tell you, having Paul McCartney sing a song that I wrote has to be one of the greatest thrills of his life," Martin quipped.
