Howard Stern Tells Fallon He's Done With Late Night Talk Shows (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 18th 2011 2:23AM
Howard Stern, 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'Howard Stern came onto 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC) to announce that he was done with late night talk shows. If he's to be believed, this was his last appearance ever on any of them.

"It's a lot of pressure to come out here," he told Jimmy Fallon. "What, I've got to prove myself to you? I mean come on, really."

Stern then offered Fallon, as the new kid in late night, some advice. "If they tell you they want to give you 'The Tonight Show,' smack them in the head," he said. He went on to explain about what a cushy job 'Late Night' is.

"Nobody cared about the ratings," he said of Conan O'Brien's time in the seat. "You go on 'The Tonight Show,' suddenly they have high expectations. Suddenly it's pressure. What do you need that for?"

Do you think Howard Stern is really done with late night?

I really don't know why anyone gives a rat's behind about what Howard Stern will or won't do. I know I don't.

Does anyone even care what Howard Stern says anymore? His ratings must be taking a nose dive, he trotted out his latest wife, Beth, whining about why he felt he had to marry her, and he's doing Fallon, who is probably the least watched of the late shows. Desperate acts of an ego driven has been. You were funny once- 20 years ago, but you never changed with the times. You really need to retire, Howard.

I didn't even know he was still around. Didn't he retire like 8 years ago?

It's a question of who is the bigger NON ENTITY -- Stern or Sheen? They are both LOSERS.

Hopefully-what a loser, he made a career out of nothing. He's like a terd, you just can't get rid of him fast enough.

finally, i won't have to watch his filthy ass on my tv any more... he revels in the mire and muck he dredges up in people, demeans women for a living, and appeals to the lowest common denominator in his audience... certainly not art, just artless... bye bye now...
