Helen Mirren to Host 'Saturday Night Live' April 9

Helen MirrenCan we get an "eff yes!" for Dame Helen Mirren Hosting 'Saturday Night Live'?

Mirren will headline the April 9 episode along with musical guest Foo Fighters.

Mirren's new flick, a remake of Dudley Moore's classic 'Arthur' co-starring Russell Brand, hits theaters April 8. The 65-year-old Academy Award-winner has never hosted the show before.

Besides her Oscar, Mirren has taken home Emmys, Golden Globes and countless BAFTAs.

Sir Elton John will host the show a week before Mirren. This season 'SNL' has welcomed the likes of Miley Cyrus, Zach Galifianakis, Jane Lynch and Jeff Bridges.

What can we expect to see from Mirren? Hopefully enough hilarity for another Emmy nomination ... and a bikini gag.

I think it would be great if Helen played the Queen to the grandson getting married and his bride to be (April 29), offering them sage advice on the institution of marriage and how to keep it together. I'm sure the SNL writers will come up with some great skits.

Does it matter what regular sketch she does on SNL? The show will suck as it has for the last couple of years except for maybe Helen's opening monologue.
