ABC Says Chris Brown Will Still Perform on 'Dancing With the Stars'
Yesterday we reported how Chris Brown's violent outburst at 'Good Morning America' may have put his future on 'Dancing With the Stars' in jeopardy.However, according to 'Entertainment Weekly,' the R&B singer is still booked to appear on the show on March 29th. 'EW' says an ABC source confirmed that Brown will perform as part of his promotional tour for his new album, 'F.A.M.E.'.
'People' reports that Brown "is upset" by what happened after his 'Good Morning America' interview Tuesday morning and that "He's been trying to move on from his past."
Executives at ABC reportedly demanded that Brown be dropped from the 'Dancing With the Stars' slate after his 'GMA' outburst. According to TMZ, Brown was so angry about being questioned about his 2009 conviction for assaulting his former girlfriend Rihanna, he stormed off the set, broke a window in his dressing room and tore off his shirt.
Brown continued his promotional appearances Tuesday afternoon and Tweeted his gratitude to fans who'd expressed their support. He also received public support from fellow recording artists like Diddy and Keri Hilson.
