Billy Ray Cyrus continued to clarify comments he made in an interview to GQ Magazine, including that 'Hannah Montana' "destroyed" his family. On 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM ET on ABC), Cyrus said he was in emotional turmoil when he gave the interview, particularly since his marriage had begun to deteriorate."I did that interview with GQ two weeks before Christmas in the midst of a divorce, separated from my family," said Cyrus. "It was a mess surrounded in darkness."
Cyrus also said he isn't interested in proving to critics that his new attitude is sincere. "As far as convincing anybody of anything, I don't have to do that. I just want to put my family back together," he said.
