Matthew McConaughey has been visiting the late-night shows to promote 'The Lincoln Lawyer.' But only on 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS) did he take the opportunity to show off his Spanish-speaking skills.

He explained (in Spanish) that the town in which he was born (Uvalde, Texas) is 82 percent Mexican. And all his older brothers' friends -- male and female -- were Mexican. "That's where I learned a little bit of Spanish," he said.

The studio audience cheered him on, and George Lopez was impressed. "Lemme tell you something, if I wasn't high, I could've sworn I was -- seeing Matthew McConaughey talk Spanish!"
