Is 'Real Housewives of DC' Canceled?

Real Housewives of DC'The Real Housewives of DC' won't be getting a second term, according to a report on RadarOnline.

The future of the Bravo series, which featured White House party crasher Michaele Salahi, has been up in the air since the first season ended in October 2010. A source told RadarOnline the women were supposed to be filming season 2, but they haven't been called into action by Bravo.

"No one from the cast has been contacted yet and told that the show is cancelled," the source told Radar.

'Real Housewives of DC' hovered around 1.5 million viewers during its first season, shockingly low compared to 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' which had the highest-rated first season of any show in the 'Real Housewives' franchise with an average of 2.55 million viewers.

'DC' star Salahi was recently booted from VH1's 'Celebrity Rehab' for not having an addiction. Further proof the series is canceled or just proof Salahi likes fame? You decide.

The newest 'Real Housewives' series, set in Miami, has been getting a lukewarm reaction from fans. The show is doing even worse than 'DC' did in Nielsen ratings, only pulling in around 1 million viewers per episode.

Bravo honcho Andy Cohen has gone on record saying 'Real Housewives of Miami' will most likely be the last addition to the 'Real Housewives' franchise.

Please bring back the real housewives of DC. I don't understand why Bravo would cancel them instead of the housewives of new jersey who are a bunch of immature, unintelligent, fame hungry women who have no class. The DC housewives live in the real world and have real life problems. The search for one's biological family member is one that hits home for alot of us. I don't know of any black women who can relate to the women of nj or atlanta for that fact. Please bravo bring back the women of dc. I love them so much

YES!!!!! Bring back the DC wives!!!!!! They were the most REALISTIC group of people since the first few seasons of the original OC wives aired. They are missed!!! NJ and the table thrower seemed to DRAMATIC!!!!! The ATL is HOT with the exception of NO TALENT, LIE A LOT KIM!!!! I guess she is there to?!?! I don't even know why she is there. Miami I couldn't get into. The OC has changed from REAL HOUSEWIVES to REAL FAKES!!! NY, ATL and DC are WINNERS!!! Even though I am not sure about this trip NY is taking; it seems too staged to me. The first couple of seasons of the OC wives were hands down the BEST!!!! They were not famous or pretentious and were not expecting any fame from the show. Back then no one could have predicted the show would turn out to be such a success. Unfortunately, since the show has been so successful women (not really WIVES anymore) seek out the show to launch a career as "SUPERSTAR" that their own merit would not have otherwise afforded them! Don't get me wrong, I watch most of them just like everyone else but the attraction to the show is slowly fading as the show turns from REAL HOUSEWIVES to MADE UP BARBIES DOING ANYTHING TO GET WHAT MAY BE MORE THAN 15 MINUTES OF FAME!!! I am just saying, but others are thinking it too!!!

Love, Love, Love NY and NJ Housewives! OC and ATL are good, too. Miami--Eh?! DC---not so much. Would not miss them if they no longer appeared on Bravo.
