Sherri Shepherd Serenades a Package of Charmin on 'The View'Sherri Shepherd serenaded a package of Charmin Ultra Soft Bath Tissue in a sponsor-related segment on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). Has anyone ever professed such undying love for toilet paper? Seems unlikely.

Shepherd reclined on top of a piano while she delivered a schmaltzy song with such cringe-worthy lyrics as "Charmin, when I've got to go / Charmin, you're the roll that I know," "Charmin, you soak up my love" and "Charmin, you wipe a smile on my face."

Then, in what we hope is an apology for having to sit through the song, audience members are given a year's supply of the bath tissue.

Why are you telling us about what you've already said was a COMMERCIAL? Just because it happened during the show doesn't make it any less product placement / advertising. If this is the new AOL, I'd like the old one back, please.
