Blake Shelton tried to explain his new show, 'The Voice,' on 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), but Chelsea Handler wasn't making it easy for him.For one thing, the premise is a little strange. The "Coaches" hear contestants sing behind them and then choose to work with them before they see what they look like.
"I don't understand what the show is, and I want you to explain to the audience so that maybe somebody will watch it," Handler told him.
Handler then started lecturing him on how interviews work and trying to get him to imagine himself as Muammar Gadhafi. He said he didn't know "who the hell" that was.
The bottom line is, that Shelton is a Coach/Judge on 'The Voice' and that the series kicks off Tuesday, April 26, at 9PM ET on NBC.
