Jonathan Groff Returning to 'Glee' for Three Episodes
Darren Criss better watch his back -- 'Glee''s original curly-haired heartthrob guest star, Jonathan Groff, is heading back to the hit show for three episodes this season.Although it was previously reported that Groff's schedule might not allow time for him to return before the end of season 2, according to TV Line, Lea Michele's real-life BFF just closed a deal to appear in the final three episodes of the season.
Groff's Jesse St. James didn't leave on a good note at the end of last season -- Rachel found out he only wooed her as part of an evil plot from the Vocal Adrenaline director (who happened to be the New Directions diva's birth mother). As all televised seduction plots go, though, St. James' feelings for Rachel turned out to be real.
According to TV Line's source, Groff's character may be back with romantic intentions.
"He's back to apologize to Rachel, and perhaps get her back," the source said.
If that means another Rachel/Jesse duet, we're in. (Who are we kidding? Jonathan Groff could sing the phone book and we'd be in.)
Tell us: Are you excited for Groff to return? What would you like to hear him sing this time?
