Regis Philbin 'Felt Pretty Good' After Meeting 'Snoopy' AKA Snoop Dogg (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 30th 2011 3:13AM
Regis Philbin, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Regis Philbin looked like he'd just come from hanging out with Snoop Dogg for his appearance on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS). At least, we assume that based on his description of the experience.

He was positively buzzing with excitement from the moment he entered the set. "I met Snoop Dogg," he said excitedly. "I visited with Snoopy upstairs."

"It's not Snoopy," David Letterman corrected.

"Did you notice anything unusual going on up there?" David Letterman asked of his time with the rapper.

"I felt pretty good when I left," Philbin responded, alluding to marijuana usage. Maybe he really did think he'd been visiting with Charlie Brown's dog by the time he left.

Whatever happened, Philbin was filled with energy and was an absolute pleasure to watch laughing and joking with Letterman. Hopefully after he retires, he'll still want to hang out on various talk shows. The TV landscape will be so empty without his manic blend of wackiness and joy.

Hey- thanks for the question. We actually made that shirt for the legendary Regis Philbin. He was very gracious to wear it and talk about it on Letterman. For more info on our shirts please go to www.andyandevan.com

Anyone know who makes Regis's shirts? The one (with the "Regis" monogram) that he and Letterman were talking about on the show.

Beg your pardon, Mr. Hughes, but the landscape in America would be much improved if Regis were REMOVED from it. It's shows like his that remind us of just how many brainless morons watch him and his side-kick. He needs to be replaced with someone of TALENT! Even a wrestler, phony as they are, would be a better choice.

I drove Snoop when he visited our town. He was one of the most respectful stars I have ever driven. As far as smoking pot, he does not disrespect anyone by doing so in public. He was so nice. His "people" however were not so nice. They were in the parking lot of the venue selling bootleg CD's and signing Snoops name on them for a fee. He needs to reevaluated his security. Also, my daughter, 5 at the time also thought I was driving Snoopy.
