'American Idol': Haley Reinhart 'Sings Sexy' in the Best Performance of the Night (VIDEO)

Haley Reinhart, 'American Idol'There she is! There's the Haley Reinhart we've been wanting to see since these live shows started on 'American Idol' (Wed., 8PM ET on FOX). There's a sexy, soulful, guttural growl to her voice that's already been favorably compared to the likes of Janis Joplin, but she was only showing glimpses of it each week.

Tackling Elton John's 'Bennie and the Jets,' Reinhart laid it all out on the stage and left her best performance of the season lying there for everyone to bask in.

She's the only contestant who's been in the bottom three twice, but in the past two weeks it looks she's finally starting to find herself on the stage.

'American Idol' airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8PM ET on FOX.

"Best performance of the night," Randy Jackson declared, and we're hard pressed to disagree. Finally, Reinhart had bloomed into the artist and perfomer we always knew was in there.

As Steven Tyler said simply, "You sing sexy."

I guess you people don't know anything about music , Haley is both a good singer and a sexy girl ! American Idol
means whole package and that is Haley ! Lauren is a spoiled daddys girl , or at least pretending to be and the way
she acts , she thinks she is 100 # They all have talent and a future , haley is the whole package ! and if you watch
the judges , they say she sings sexy , she is very soulfull , and best of the night !

Haley is the real deal. She can sing anything, has a great distinct voice, great look, comfortable on stage and has great marketability. She improves from week to week which shows she can take suggestions from producers and make adjustments to improve her performance. Has great confidence doesn't cry like others just keeps on doing her thing. Shes the best of the bunch and should win this thing. Whether she does or doesn't she'll still be very successful in show biz. Looking forward to her first CD.

I agree. I'm surprised to see so many people dislike her so much on the comments. She's one of the contestants that just keeps getting better every week. Isn't that what this show is about?

Anyone who says Haley can't sing obviously don't know squat about music. This kid is the real deal. She can sing anything, has a distinct style, a great look, very very marketable and grows week to week. Shes so comfortable on stage theres no doubt she was meant to perform.The only one I'd consider laying any money down on their stuff. She will be the next American Idol whether she wins the competition or not.

Haley bugs. Proud she didn't wear hot pants AGAIN. Had to go to my iPod and play Elton John's version of Benny and the Jets over and again to get that horrible memory out of my head. Did I mention she bugs?
