Shenae Grimes and her friend Nikki were in Japan when the earthquake struck. "We were actually in front of this giant Buddha," she recalled on 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!). "I sat and felt my butt moving -- and I wasn't moving it -- for like an hour and a half. And [then] it was a nine-hour drive back to Tokyo."

The '90210' star was moved by the kindness of the Japanese people, and now wants to do "everything we can think of" to help the country recover from the devastation. "We're starting a viral campaign called Spread the Heart" to raise awareness for Japan relief efforts. She pointed to the small heart drawn on her cheekbone and explained, "That's what my heart's for."
