Katie Holmes Is the Supportive Wife When Tom Cruise Does His Own Stunts (VIDEO)

Jimmy Kimmel told Katie Holmes that her husband Tom Cruise "might be the nicest person that has ever walked through the doors of this theater," but he's pretty crazy. Kimmel wasn't referring to couch-jumping; he was talking about how the actor does so many of his own stunts.

Last time Cruise appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC), he and Kimmel soared over Hollywood Blvd. on a zip line. "I was like a corpse put in a potato sack on a clothes line," recalled Kimmel.

The host then showed photos of Cruise -- barefoot -- atop Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the tallest man-made structure in the world. Cruise perched carefree at 2,717 feet for 'Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.'

Regarding the stunt, Holmes told her husband she "loved it" but in reality she was "terrified. I wanted to throw up."
