Stephen Colbert Introduces His 'Emergency Beck Pack' (VIDEO)

by Jeremy Taylor, posted Apr 5th 2011 7:30AM
According to various reports, Fox News and Glenn Beck could part ways when Beck's contract expires in December.

Stephen Colbert is preparing for this potential "Beckpocalyse" with his "Emergency Beck Pack," which he introduced on 'The Colbert Report' (Weeknights, 11:30PM ET on Comedy Central).

It's a spoof, beef stroganoff-filled version of the survivalist-themed backpack Beck has pitched to his 'Glenn Beck Program' audiences.

So, what else is in a Beck Pack?

"One copy of every book Glenn has written, plus enough empty space to fit in the ones he writes between the time you order and the time the backpack is delivered next week," Colbert explained.

But, most importantly, the pack has "two dozen cans of pure, distilled Glenn." When Colbert opened one of the cans of Glenn a light emanated from it, and Beck's soothing voice said "This is the end of America as you know it."

Well, if Beck really does leave Fox News later this year, at least we know there is still one guy on cable TV who knows his way around props.
