Jesse Ventura Argues Against Two-Party System on 'The View' (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Apr 6th 2011 2:00PM
Former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura has made no secret of his dislike for America's two-party system, claiming that it accounts for a host of political ills. On 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), Ventura argued that voters should avoid both parties as a way to voice their discontent."What you do is simple," Ventura said. "Stop voting for Democrats and Republicans. We have to break the two-party dictatorship, and we have the power to do it. Quit voting for them!"
"But they don't give you a viable third-party candidate," countered Joy Behar.
"Why do you have to be third-party? Vote for anyone but them. Send the message!" replied Ventura.
