Gary Busey Relives Meat Loaf's 'Celebrity Apprentice' Explosion (VIDEO)

Gary Busey, 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' talking 'Celebrity Apprentice'Gary Busey didn't offer any new insight into the now-infamous Meat Loaf meltdown on 'Celebrity Apprentice' with his appearance on 'The Tonight Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). What he did bring, though, was a delightful interpretation of what happened.

In his recapping of the events that set the Internet ablaze this past Sunday night, he went from the calm demeanor he displayed throughout the ordeal to Meat Loaf's explosive craziness in a split second. Back and forth several times, it was a virtuoso performance.

"Any show where Gary Busey is the voice of reason I find fascinating," Leno said.

We have to admit that was one of the elements of the moment that was so compelling. As Leno said, "I have never seen you speechless." And yet Busey was so stunned by the vitriol coming from Meat Loaf that he was stuck both physically and verbally.

At least now he can talk about it and get it off his chest. In Busey's mind it was all just a part of the plot by the men's team on 'Celebrity Apprentice' to try and get rid of him, but we have a feeling Loaf was out on his own limb with that particular tirade. That didn't look sanctioned or approved by anyone!

What a lot of people probably don't know about Gary Busey is that he had a life-altering near-death experience some years back. He's never been the same wild, bad boy since. He probably doesn't have it in him anymore to go toe to to with someone behaving like a maniac.

I,ve been watching American Idol alot of years as alot of others. I was under the impression it was a vocal competition not charisma. Pia voice is like a song bird but as stiff as a board in appearance. Just anothers oppinion. Thanks

I'm not sure what the original intent of the producers was, but it's clearly not a vocal competition. They're looking for originality and appeal to a certain market segment (teens and young adults). That's why the call it American "Idol," rather than American Great Singer :-) And that's why someone like Sanjaya can make it as far as he did. But there's one season winner I'll never get - Taylor Hicks. What was that all about??

NO WAY should Trump run for president. The man couldn't run his own businesses, why would Americans trust him to run the country??? The only platform he discusses is if obama is born american. At this point who cares. Trump forget about it!!!!!!!!!!!

Pia lost because she just sings the songs but doesnt put any action into her songs she doesnt sing to the crowds of people watching her. I love her voice and she was one of the best on the show and she will be picked up by some one and we will see h er again. I think one of the singers that sing country will win this year. They should not have used their save on Casey,bet they regret that move.
