Is It the End of the Road for Gary Busey on 'Celebrity Apprentice'?
Gary Busey's unpredictability has had the men on the edge of their nerves for weeks now on 'Celebrity Apprentice' (Sun., 9PM on NBC). Last week, Meat Loaf had an infamous meltdown of expletives and rage toward Busey, though that was ultimately undeserved. But it's safe to say that Busey has been a difficult teammate. This week, he was up to his antics again during the challenge, driving the guys crazy and even hitting up the Australian Gold executives for some work.
Mark McGrath was the project manager for the men's team, and LaToya Jackson took point for the women. While both teams did exceptionally well, one team stayed on task and sold the message better.
With a traditional beach and winter theme to promote the importance of sunscreen, the women sent the men to the boardroom for their second consecutive elimination.
Before he knew the results, McGrath was willing to take ownership of a failure by the men. But after he found out they had lost, he joined the pile-on against Busey, detailing the three strikes against him that made Busey "out" to him.
When Donald Trump asked Busey why he shouldn't be fired, Busey said because he had "a good force of nature." Unfortunately, nobody knew what that meant.
But Busey makes for good television, so McGrath was sent packing. Though alive for another week, Busey didn't leave the boardroom without a stern warning from Trump.
"Watch your hands and watch your mouth and watch all that crap," he said. "You've gotta shape up. Too many complaints, Gary. They can't all be wrong."
Do you think Busey should have been eliminated this week?
