EXCLUSIVE 'Community' Photo From This Week's 'Competitive Wine Tasting'

'Community''s Chevy Chase as Pierce HawthorneEvil, evil Pierce Hawthorne ... Chevy Chase has had quite the season of tear-inducing manipulation, but what's he up to this week on 'Community'?

Plotting? Scheming? Laughing maniacally to the tune of an ominous new personal theme song?

Hardly. In an exclusive photo from this week's all-new 'Community,' Pierce appears to be ditching his tough exterior and actually taking some sound advice. But what the advice is about and who's doling it out may shock you.

Keep reading to see the full picture and to hear more details about this week's episode, 'Competitive Wine Tasting' ...

This week, the gang picks their spring electives, with Troy and Britta both opting to learn the fundamentals of acting and Abed picking a much-discussed class all about the '80s sitcom 'Who's the Boss?'

Abed's pop culture dream class is taught by guest star Stephen Tobolowsky, who's a published expert on all things Tony Micelli and Angela Bower. But can you just imagine everything Abed's filed away on that show? Should be a nice head-to-head ...

Now it might sound like it can't get funnier than that -- and honestly, maybe it can't -- but the pairing of Jeff and Pierce for a wine tasting class has some major funny potential. Drinking wine would naturally make Jeff's sarcasm and Pierce's inappropriateness even more uninhibited, but there's another element at play here -- her name is Wu Mei.

Wu Mei (guest star Michelle Krusiec) is described as a beautiful and mysterious Chinese woman who "sweeps Pierce off his feet." It sounds like things get pretty serious pretty quickly -- like marriage-talk serious.

It's crazy what a nice bottle of cabernet can do to you ...

In this picture, either Jeff is picking Pierce's brain about the vintage of this particular bottle or, more likely, he's confronting him about Wu Mei. Are her motives as mischievous as Pierce's usually are? And does that mean they're soul mates? We'll have to watch and see ...

'Community' fans -- how happy are you that the show's back with new episodes? And do you think we might (finally) see the softer, more vulnerable side of Pierce?

This was another great episode. Exploring Abed’s obsession with pop culture by pitting him against an academic was hilarious. Trot once again still the show with his limited scenes regarding what a fictitious uncle may or may not have “put in his no-no”. Britta’s reaction was funny, predictable, and completely Britta, but I’d have thought she would have gotten a little madder when he finally came clean. I was lucky to see the show at all this week as my kids messed up my DVR recording, but luckily as a DISH customer and employee, I was able to watch the whole thing at DISH Online at no extra cost. Love it!

Abed hasn't filed away anything about "Who's the Boss." If you recall in the episode where Britta drunk dials Jeff, Abed likens it to when Tony saw Angela naked in the opening credits of Who's the Boss. Jeff then asks if Tony ever let Angela see him naked to make up for it and Abed replies "I don't know, I never made it past the credits." So he is probably taking the class in order to learn about Who's the Boss because its one show he couldn't stand to watch.
