Sid and his family will be celebrating Earth Day with four new episodes of 'Sid the Science Kid.'Welcome to the Family TV Roundup, a recap of all kid-friendly programming across the television universe. We'll sum up all the news related to children's programming, as well as profile the people and shows your kids, tweens and teens are talking about.

'Sid the Science Kid,' the PBS Kids show produced by the Jim Henson Company, will be celebrating the upcoming Earth Day with not one, but four new episodes with themes related to the environment. Running April 18–21 (check local listings for times), the CGI-animated episodes will focus on questions such as what happens to dirty water when it goes down the drain, how pollution affects the air we breathe, what recycling means and how animal habitats can be found almost anywhere.
In addition to the new 'Sid the Science Kid' episodes, PBS Kids will also be airing two new offerings of 'Wild Kratts.' The live action/animated series, which premiered back in December and stars former 'Zoboomafoo' hosts Chris and Martin Kratt, will air on April 21 and 22. Again, check local listings for times.

In Other News:

Disney has acquired another new program for its Disney Junior lineup. 'Guess How Much I Love You -- The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare' is based on a picture book about the journeys of Little Nutbrown Hare and his friends. It is unknown whether the new episodes will air on the current Disney Junior lineup or when the programming block moves to a 24/7 operation next February.

In other Disney Junior news, the programming block continues to outpace Playhouse Disney in the ratings. Numbers are up nearly 40 percent for viewers in the K2-5 range and almost 50 percent for boys in the same age bracket.

The premiere of a new episode on April 9 generated 7.4 million viewers and was the top cable telecast of the week. 'Big Time Rush,' which followed the new 'iCarly,' also earned some of its highest ratings since premiering last year.

Fred is heading to the big screen! After the success of last year's 'Fred: The Movie' on Nickelodeon, Internet sensation Fred Figglehorn will be starring in the 3D feature 'Night of the Living Fred.' No word yet on a premiere date.

Ashley Tisdale reprises her 'High School Musical' role in the new film 'Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure.' The direct-to-DVD feature will be released on Tuesday, April 19.
