Sarah lane has a point, because there's another film i think it was flashdance? where a girl is sitting in a chair and there's water poure'd over her head and there was a lot of dancinh? Idont recall that the person wqas ever given credit for that dance either? natalie portman give credit where credit is due, woman up????

Go away girl. You've had your 15 minutes of notoriety. You've been paid. Exposing your breasts like that and exposing your hunger for recognition will not get you anywhere. We don't want to hear you.

Is this any different than a stunt double actors use for the dangerous parts? Stunt doubles don't going around complaining that they don't get reconized for what they do. She was hired for the same thing, a stunt/dance double.
Natalie is an actress and that's what she did, "acted" like she can dance. Get over it and move on with your life. Your 15 minutes are over!!

She's not talking about suing anyone, that means that the contract she signed was honored by the parties who signed her. Its unfortunate that she seems as if she were expecting more recognition for this and it just did not happen the way she expected! If she's a dancer, she should earn by dancing, not by treading on the fame of another. Sour grapes are sour grapes. Move along, darling, and thank the maker you were granted your 15 minutes, enough already...you're beginning to bore and as an entertainer, you don't want that! You're doing yourself more harm than good, really!

Natalie is a great actress--but we used to go the Met in NY every few months to see ballet--and there's NO WAY Portman did this.Sorry. This little girl isn't scared, and she shouldn't be. She's correct.

People are so funny. Who really cares about Natalie Portman and if she won the oscar, and did she do all that
dancing? Minutia is what it is. We have 3 wars going on, the debt ceiling is about to be raised again. We have
almost 2 trillion a year in deficit spending. Gas is going to be 5 dollars a gallon here shortly. Unemployment is
at Great Depression levels and has been for 2 years, but it is a recession, yeah right, Move along sheeple,, nothing

I think the complaint here is more about the "word of mouth" promotion around the dancing itself and seems to say that Natalie Portman with her ballet background did some amazing work in a very short time. This girl is standing up for those who work much longer and harder to perfect the art form saying that perhaps the "amazing work" was overblown on the part of the film PR people. She's not quibbling about the acting award and feels it was well deserved. I would agree with her that a head shot should not be counted as "dancing". Think of it this way: If she shadowed a dentist to learn how to look and act like a dentist and the camera showed several shots of her with with her hands in someone's mouth, and then the PR guys put the word out that....golly, you know she went to dental school way back when and she can actually do fillings and pull teeth because of the work she did on this film role.........well, that's what this girl is crabbing about............

so what does she want. She doesn't wanr recognition or fame. I'm sure it'sbout money, more money!!
