'Community' Behind the Scenes: Meet the Show's Makeup, Prop & Costume Pros (VIDEO)

'Community' has done some pretty epic things in its two seasons on the air. I mean, just look at this cast:
The cast of 'Community'

But none of it would be possible without the people behind the scenes: the makeup artists who lovingly applied Yvette Nicole Brown's beard for the 'Pulp Fiction' homage; the props person who meticulously crafted the claymation figures, like Gillian Jacobs' Britta Bot, for the Christmas episode; and the imaginative costumers who turn Jim Rash into Dean Pelton, the spectacle, week after week.

Not only do these people have the vision to bring the scripts to life, they also have stories. Lots and lots of good stories.

I chatted with crewmembers Pamela Lljubo-O'Brien, Robert Joseph and Bryan Birge on the show's set to find out what goes into creating an over-the-top episode of 'Community' (Thursdays, 8PM ET on NBC). They also dished about their favorite moments, props and costumes from the show so far, who's the biggest clotheshorse and the art of destroying the set for a paintball-filled episode like 'Modern Warfare.'

Speaking of paintball, executive producers and series directors Joe and Anthony Russo were on hand, shooting the two-part finale -- dubbed (by me) paintball, part deux -- and they gave us some insight as well. Plus, as a special bonus for fans, there are some little sneak peeks of the set and the cast's costumes from the big finale. There are some pretty amazing things in there ... I kind of can't wait.

Thoughts? New-found appreciation for the show? Speculation about what exactly will happen in the halls of Greendale at the end of the season? Sound off in the comments.

I really, really enjoy this show. Maybe part of the reason is that I never been to college and something about the characters that I really enjoy about them. Great cast...
