Although MTV just aired the wedding of 'Teen Mom 2' stars Leah Messer and Corey Simms a few weeks ago, according to UsMagazine.com, Messer has filed for divorce from the father of her twin girls just six months after their wedding.

Though Messer, 18, and Corey Simms, 20, ended the 'Teen Mom 2' season with a wedding celebration and then spoke about it at a reunion special, things haven't always been easy for the young couple, who found out they were expecting twins after just one month of dating.

"Everything Corey and I have done has happened so fast," Messer told Us recently. The pair have had a rocky relationship, including breaking up even after their daughters, Aliannah and Aleeah, now 16 months, were born.

The pair reconciled, got engaged and married last October, all in front of the MTV cameras. However, Messer expressed some concern that they were moving too quickly.

"I didn't want to jump into something else and be like, 'Oh, s**t! What did we do?'" Messer told Us. "Three years ago, back before I was pregnant, I never thought I'd be married now. I was scared because a lot of people who marry young end up divorcing within a year."

Messer cites her own parents' relationship as an example of how marriage isn't always the best decision.

"My mom and dad married, divorced, remarried and divorced again," she said. "I don't want my girls to go through that. My mom talked to me because she wed at 16 and didn't want me to go through a divorce like she did."

But it looks like Messer's marriage with Simms is heading in that direction. However, friends of the couple hope they will find a way to reconcile yet again.

"They are not in a good place right now," said a source. "Their friends are hoping they find a way to make it work."

Those wondering if they'll see any of the drama play out on another installment of 'Teen Mom' can rest easy. According to TMZ, Messer was spotted crying over her divorce papers this weekend while the MTV cameras rolled.
