Elton John Warns Royal Couple About Tabloid Scrutiny (VIDEO)

On 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM ET on ABC), Elton John praised Prince William and Kate Middleton as a loving couple and wished them happiness in their impending marriage. However, he warned, for Middleton especially, the future promises a "most difficult life" given the "negativity" and "hatefulness" in the British press.

"Let's face it. We know what that kind of marriage entails. The press never leave you alone ... I admire her for going through with it," John said of Middleton.

"Enjoy it while you can," he continued, "because ... the press are going to give you a bumpy ride. They're going to love you. They're going to hate you. I just hope they love each other enough to stay away from all that."
