Karina Smirnoff Trips Over Ralph Macchio's Costume on 'Dancing with the Stars' (VIDEO)

Ralph Macchio, 'Dancing with the Stars'A new week means a new fall on 'Dancing with the Stars' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC). But this time Kirstie Alley was nowhere near the incident. In fact, it was front-runner Ralph Macchio's professional partner Karina Smirnoff who fell and fell hard, but it looked more like a wardrobe incident than a dancing error.

Macchio was sporting a long jacket with a flared bottom that cascaded across the floor when he got low, and it was this excess portion of his jacket that knocked Smirnoff off her feet.

To their credit, Macchio quickly helped her back to her feet and they regained their composure and continued the performance.

"Mr. Miyagi would be very proud of you for getting right back up and right into the dance," Carrie Ann Inaba said.

"I'm not gonna castigate you," Len Goodman told the pair. "I'm gonna congratulate you."

Unfortunately, the overall performance still gave the pair the second lowest marks of the night. Now, it's up to their fans at home to prove they've forgiven this fall and vote in large enough numbers to keep them on the show.

Ralph was in the bottom two the week after Karina, his dance partner appeared nude in a magazine. Ralph could get eliminated because of Karina. Ralph is such a sweet and gentle soul, a good man and married to the same women for years. Fans need to power vote for him unless Karina can be replacee.

LOVE KERSTIE AND MAX.WHEN PEOPLE MAKE SNIDE REMARKS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE. THEY SHOULD SWEEP AROUND THEIR OWN DOORSTEP AS MY MOM USED TO SAY. I HOPE THEY BRING BACK "DANCE YOUR OFF. THOSE PEOPLE ARE GREAT DANCERS AND YOU DONOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THEIR WEIGHT. HOPE I COULD DO AS WELL SHOULD I FIND MYSELF UNDER THE SAME CIRCUMSTANCES. SPEAK WELL OF EVERONE AND IF YOU CANNOT SAY SOMETHING NICE SAY NOTHING.

Him him aAnd now, Ralphy I think you did really well. I like to see him do another movie. I love the movie that he was then way he played guitar. That is one of the best guitar solos in a movie I have ever seen but done by Ralph. Someone should pick up a contract movie for him he still has talent to give. It's time for him to be seen again in the profession that he so much loves and gives a lot to.
I saw both spill on the dance floor, but it was covets so nicely that I didn't realize that was a spill by the dancer. So she of course new that there was a mistake, but you just go on and you don't stop you don't wait you don't look like you lost you continue, that's what a professional dancer does. So she should just let go of the spill and realize that she came out of a dilemma, that no one really saw as a big loss.
As a dancer, when you recover from a situation such as they did, you go on and you say "we really clean that one up", and you move on.
Go Ralph go, hope to see you again in another movie.

You all should be happy there are Ugly and Fat people in the World...otherwise, what would you do? There are some people, that other than "looking good" are useless wastes of flesh on this Earth...except to be examples of how inane it is to be Vain...

clp clap clap~he is is a aThank you for speaking up for millions who live in the land of narcissism. The media is a business, it really doesn't care about the individual. It's the story that sells and however they get it especially if it's free they want a printed. Free information on people's lives. The cosmetic industry the medical industry that produces surgeries of either taking something off your body or putting something on is one of the biggest industries in America. Seeing as that there are more women than there are men, it's an endless supply of making money. So those with very low self-esteem and those who want to present a picture of perfection either physically or mentally goal for these surgeries. It's a shame how many women suffer from these stereotypes.
You're right about size whether person is skinny or fat whether they have a perfect nose or they should cut off their breasts or they should slaying a *****. Is all part of the American cosmology.
American women are made to continually feel like what they have been given at birth is all wrong. Not even religion or philosophy can stop them from either cutting themselves up or putting on new parts just so that they can feel better or make someone else think that they are in okay human being. What a shame and a waste of time as we all grow older we come to understand that none of these things are important.
It is best to become the human being that you want to be what I'll thinking about the rest of who lives in America and what they are doing.

REALLY? This is how people view folks who struggle with weight problems? I guess shock is the only word that discribes how much ugly, hateful, nasty comments I see about people who struggle with weight. WOW...the world is a cruel, vile place. There but by the grace of GOD...
