Watch Every TV Comedy Star You Can Think Of in the Beastie Boys' New Video (NSFW)

We're not sure how they were able to do this, but the Beastie Boys just released a video with pretty much every major TV and movie comedy star you can think of, leaning heavily towards the TV side.At least the reason why they did it was a good one: Believe it or not, it's been 25 years since the Beastie Boys tore up MTV with their classic music video '(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party!)' Yes, that sound you hear is the arthritis in your knees crackling at the thought that Beasties have been around for that long, much less that it was a quarter-century since you heard that song in high school.
To celebrate the anniversary of the song and their debut album, 'Licensed to Ill,' the Beasties created a 30-minute music video called 'Fight for Your Right (Revisited),' which strings together tracks from their soon-to-drop album, 'Hot Sauce Committee Part 2.' A red-band trailer for the video rocketed across the interwebs last week, but the full video wasn't released until yesterday.
The NSFW video and more after the jump.
In the video, we see what happened after the 1986 version of MCA (Adam Yauch), Mike D (Michael Diamond), and Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz), this time played by Danny McBride, Elijah Wood and Seth Rogen, exited the party apartment in the original 'Fight for Your Right' video. They wreak havoc on the streets, meeting along the way characters played by Ted Danson, Amy Poehler, Adam Scott, Maya Rudolph, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, Chloe Sevingy, Rashida Jones, David Cross, Martin Starr and many, many others.
They then run into their older selves, played by Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, and Jack Black, who challenge them to a dance-off. Let's just say that, outside of Wood, most of them won't exactly be confused for the Beasties.
It's a funny video and the music is great, but the best part is playing "spot the star." The Beasties themselves appear in the video, and they do list who appeared in the closing credits. But it's more fun to do it without knowing who might show up. Watch the video below (again, it's NSFW... I can't say that too many times) and see if you don't agree.
Here's the original video, just for fun:
