Cate Blanchett Lends Voice to 'Family Guy'

Cate BlanchettCate Blanchett is heading to Quahog! The Oscar winner will voice a character on 'Family Guy.'

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Blanchett's episode of the Fox animated hit will air in the spring of 2012. No additional details have been released.

This is Blanchett's first TV role since 1995, when she played Bianca in the Australian miniseries 'Bordertown' opposite Hugo Weaving.

Her first credited role is the TV series 'Police Rescue.'

Blanchett won an Oscar in 2005 for her role in 'The Aviator'; she's been nominated another four times. Besides her Oscar, Blanchett has two Golden Globes, two SAG awards and two BAFTAs.

The actress can currently be seen in 'Hanna' and is filming 'The Hobbit.'

Yeah, it looks like she has two SAGS (one on the right and one on the left).
