Nick Cannon played proud (but nervous) papa on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated), noting that wife Mariah Carey is expected to give birth to twins at any moment.

"I have my phone. I have some homing devices, pigeons, all that stuff," said Cannon. "It could happen at any second. So, we're on pins and needles."

While Carey could give birth at any moment, it's still been a rather lengthy pregnancy, Cannon joked. "It could happen tonight," he said. "I know we've been saying that for a couple weeks, but ... she's made it further than most people with twins have made it. I think they've, like, got college educations already."
