Brandi Struggles to Gain the Trust of Peter's Parents on 'In Plain Sight' (VIDEO)

There's bad timing and then there's what happened on to Peter on the season premiere of 'In Plain Sight' (Sun., 10PM ET on USA). After his parents tried to present Brandi with a pre-nuptial agreement to protect the family assets, Peter got indignant and started speech-ifying.

The parents tried to argue it wasn't personal. It was just business. And after all, she does have that shady past.

"it's not just about business when you say you don't trust my fiance," Peter said. "And by extension you don't trust me."

"Brandy's never done anything to betray your trust," he said later in the speech, and that's when it all went awry, as the police showed up to take Brandi into custody regarding a case of stolen cars.

It looks like the police were pre-juding Brandi as well, though, as she was ultimately cleared of all charges. It does look like she's truly trying to turn over a new leaf, and with Peter in her life. But can his parents come to accept her, and believe in her?
