Eliminated Contestant Returns to the Game on 'Celebrity Apprentice' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted May 2nd 2011 2:41AM
Donald Trump, 'Celebrity Apprentice'In eleven seasons, Donald Trump has never gone back on a firing. Sure, some of them have made almost no sense to viewers at home, but he's stuck to his guns every time. We're not sure if other fired contestants have come back asking to be allowed back in the game, but it happened this week on 'Celebrity Apprentice' (Sun. 9PM ET on NBC).

This contestant felt there wasn't sufficient ground for being fired. "I want to come back because I want to show my strength. I want to prove my ability," they said in a private meeting with Trump in his office.

As a caveat for their return, the person requested they be allowed to work on the opposite team from the one they got fired from. At the board room, Trump surprised everyone by doing just that.

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

"I have another surprise for you men," he told the guys as LaToya Jackson walked in. "LaToya, congratulations, you're back. You're going to be working with the men's team."

You could see the looks of shock on everyone's faces, but especially from the women's team. They'd just gotten rid of her last week, and now here she was back in the game and competing against them.

LaToya had some choice words regarding which of the women should be eliminated this week, but the elimination itself was pre-empted on the East Coast by the Presidential Address regarding the death of Osama bin Laden, sending scores of people online to find the results.

What do you think of this move? Should Jackson have been given another chance?

Later, Trump fired another contestant. Check out the clip:

I love that show. I keep admiring Trump more and more and when he let LaToya back in it just proved to me how very understanding and tolerant he can be of people. I more often than not........agree with his decision of who to fire.
I feel he really knows and understands people! I think his kids are amazing people and I'm sure it mostly has to do with his being the man he is. I always look fwd to his show and hope it continues on and on.

I haven't seen that show yet, but I intend to watch it. Don't know why she was fired, but she has always participated, she's easy to get along with....and Star, Nene, and Dionne Warwick have all been B----S!! They don't cooperate and they don't pay attention to what the project manager asks of them.

Closely listen to a dvd of Inception made prior to January the 8th Tucson shooting, especially around the dialogue, "Do It."

BLOW HARD Trump!! A big bully, a zero----------now, what is he thinking up to give HIMSELF credit for and degrading Obama?? Poor soul, he is so frustrated and that fake-colored hair mess is not helping.

Donald Trump's comments about President Obama reveal "an ugly strain of racism,' according to Bob Schieffer, host of CBS News’ “Face the Nation.” That is the only reason he brought back Ms. Jackson. If she were white, it wouldn't have happened. He's supposed to be a business man and he knows, as everyone else that she is useless.

I really enjoy watching this show as entertainment. For years my fiance has been telling me it is all put on for the ratings, I didn't believe; however during the last few years I have come to the conclusion that he is right, and this year is no different. First of all we knew that there was no way he was taking out Nene or Star because of the drama, face it, people love the drama that is why most of us watch it. I think the three that have a real shot at winning are Marlee, Little Jon and John Rich. I think those three are really something else. Marlee is the only women on there with any kind of grace and class; Little Jon amazes me, I don't know much about his music, but he really has a great business mind, and the same goes for John Rich. I personally think it will be Marlee to win it all.

Somebody please tell Mr. Trump that his boardroom comments on the way that the women dress are inappropriate, even bordering on harrassment. He also lavished praise on Hope has having a brilliant future. What can she do other than pose?
