History Renews Larry the Cable Guy Series, Kristen Wiig Retires Gilly, Penelope From 'SNL' and More TV News

Larry the Cable GuyHistory has reportedly given Larry the Cable Guy the go ahead to git-r-done on a new season of 'Only in America.'

According to Entertainment Weekly, 'Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy' will return for a season 2 after 2.5 million viewers tuned in for the first season.

The series follows Larry as he travels across the country searching for unique places, people and things.

Kristen Wiig has retired two 'Saturday Night Live' characters, Gilly and Penelope. The 'SNL' actress said in a recent interview that she won't bring them back, even if Lorne Michaels personally requests them. [TIME]

Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh is suing baby mama Allison Mathis and Shed Media over VH1's 'Basketball Wives.' Bosh is suing for infringing on his trademark and publicity rights by commercially exploiting his likeness and trademark. [Hollywood Reporter]
