'Celebrity Wife Swap' is coming! And guess what? It'll (probably) be amazing.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC has ordered six episodes of the new reality series, which will feature celebrities trading their luxurious lifestyles for a week. No air date is set.

ABC adapted 'Wife Swap' from the U.K. version, which featured celebrity episodes where Freddie Starr and his wife Donna swapped lives with Samantha Fox and her partner Myra Strattan.

Here's the thing about 'Wife Swap': It's incredibly addicting. The show takes people, throws them into a completely absurd situation -- usually rich people switching with a family struggling through some rough economic times or a super religious family switching with Wiccans -- and lets the cameras roll. It's a classic formula that has made for hundreds of hours of entertainment.

Throw in celebrities? Well, ABC, it's pretty safe to say you've got a hit on your hands. Just think of the possibilities: Candace Cameron Bure could swap lives with Kendra Wilkinson! Khloe Kardashian could switch with Meredith Baxter!

We hope ABC and participating celebrities take the opportunity to really make this must-watch TV, from the pairings to the meltdowns, it should be great.
