James was good but his EGO made him fall..When he told Jimmy he didnt care what he said he was singing what he wanted to sing..That hurt him badly..I knew Scotty was gonna win from the start and he did...It was gonna be Scotty or Lauren from the get -go..,But i will say..when they let Pia go so fast they lost me as a viewer.I will NO longer get caught up in this crap.. I quit watching American Idol when James was voted off...it should be called American Idiots!!!

That performance would not have won a local karaoke contest. Why do these judges patronize and mislead with their false praise? Just a small example of the mediocrity that has become rampant in the music biz.

Ladies and Gentlemen: American Idol is a contest to determine the best vocal talent in America for 2011.
It is a means of evaluating singer's vocal ability. People should vote to decide who has the best voice, not the cutest face, or who can dance the best,or who has the sadest background,or who can woo the judges (remember the kiss) , or not a sympathy seeker or who wears the best clothes . People, this year, should not base their vote on anything the judges say, because these judges are a farce!!!
Conclusion --- the real glue that held Idol together and made it a respected talent show is gone ------- Simon Cowell .
