After 'Jersey Shore' stars Snooki, JWoww and Pauly D got their own MTV shows, you knew a Situation spinoff would be next. Today, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that a Sitch series is in the works.

While there aren't actually any details about what, exactly, Mike Sorrentino's show will be about (though we can probably assume there won't be any dancing involved), THR reports that the Macaroni Rascal will film a pilot presentation later this year to submit to the network for series consideration.

When AOL TV spoke with 'Jersey Shore' creator SallyAnn Salsano a few weeks ago, she told us the gang would head over to Italy to shoot the latest season of 'Jersey Shore' any day now.

"It'll be crazy," she said. "The kids are excited; they're ready to go. Barely anyone speaks the language, so it'll be a perfect storm of I don't know what. Lord only knows. I mean, I have a hard enough time in Miami and Jersey with us communicating with people, I can't imagine all of us in a foreign country."
