For most, Cinco de Mayo is a day to celebrate Mexican heritage and pride. For Ellen DeGeneres, it's a day to terrorize random people with a hidden mariachi band in a segment called "Sneako de Scare-O!" on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

Several unfortunate groups of people got a scare while viewing props from the set of 'Friends.' Each time, the mariachi band hid silently behind a couch. Then, when the tourists least expected it, the six-piece band startled them with a rendition of 'Cielito Lindo.'

Later, outside DeGeneres' offices, the band accosted people in the parking lot and they even surprised several unlucky women trying to go to the bathroom.
