'Happy Endings' (Wed., 10:30PM ET on ABC) is airing back-to-back episodes in the 10 o'clock hour for the rest of this month. ABC is happy with how it's been doing there, and so they shelved their 'Modern Family' repeat plans for 10:30PM.

Of course, cynics could say they're burning off episodes, but as May is Sweeps month, we prefer to look at it as a good sign for the freshman comedy that's growing into a very solid comedy. After all, the same network just booted 'Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution' to June due to low ratings.

This week saw Max giving hipster tips to Penny so she could fit-in on a date. It was uncanny how well he understood the sub-culture.

"Never try. Never put effort into anything," he told her as she got into a ridiculous get-up. He even gave her a catchphrase to pacify them if anything she doesn't understand goes down.

Yes, we all saw it coming when she used the line on the hipsters later, but it was still funny watching them all agree with her. "Over it," she said about a right-handed musician who plays with his left hand because "he refuses to play with his dominant hand. It's too commercial."

Man, we weren't even there and we're annoyed by these people. "Over" them, but not this show!
