Sheryl Crow Predicts James Durbin or Lauren Alaina Will Win 'American Idol'Since she worked with each of the remaining five contestants on 'American Idol' last night as a mentor, musician Sheryl Crow is perhaps in the best position to predict who the finalists will be. On 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Crow said that James Durbin and Lauren Alaina will take the last two slots in the singing competition and battle for the win.

"I kind of think that maybe James and maybe Lauren," Crow said. "But, I have to tell you that, they're even more fantastic in the everyday rehearsal situation, because the nerves start happening when they're on stage. They were unbelievable, every one. I could see any one of those five winning."

Crow also praised the remaining five contestants for their ability to perform week and week on 'Idol.' "I can't imagine going out ... and having that kind of composure in front of that many people and live TV," she said. "I think it would be hard. But, they've got it down."

Her opinions and assessments were not that great or accurate. She's a good performer but didn't strike me as a great judge of talent.
