'Something Pitchy:' Why's Everybody Always Hatin' on Haley?

Rickey is hilarious XD with the way he seems like he can't stop laughing for nearly the entire vlog.. Personally, altho I usually like the way they all "perform" (minus any screaming, growling, warbling, heh) because of their personalities that shine thru, after listening to the studio versions of various songs from previous weeks (not this one yet), I can't really stand anyone as the type of songs/voices you'd listen to casually- with the exception of Pia (ppl may call her a "boring" performer but her voice was truly the best) & Scotty, at least when his songs aren't (almost comically) sped up, what's up with that? Basically, most of the studio versions don't feel radio-ready at all, which they should, because isn't that the point of doing studio versions? Oy.

And I definitely agree about Haley, she's been singing the same from day one, I never really understood why they ever talked her down (& all that crap about "find out who you are, be yourself, blah blah" as if they're trying to squeeze her into some tiny lil single-genre box; why *can't* she do both country (a la LeAnn's Blue) & whatever else she's good at? For her voice, why is being "all over the place, genre-wise", a bad thing? Sheesh..) so it's nice to see her finally get some long-overdue recognition. I also like Lauren too, but mostly performance-wise.. I'm 50/50 on her studio versions too (probably need to try letting them grow on me? lol); same with James- his performances are interesting to watch, but don't really care for his voice on the studio tracks.. eh well.

Once again, the Judges appear to be oblivious to pitch problems and bad performances. They have one mode, and that is everyone is great. Where is Simon when we need to hear some reality. This is still reality TV. I am on team Haley.

Why do you even include Rickey!? Whatever he said is BS! He loves everything even when the contestants are horrid! Get rid of him already!
