Colin Hanks Joins 'Dexter,' Showtime Releases Season 6 Teaser Trailer

DexterColin Hanks has joined 'Dexter' in a role very significant to the season 6 story arc.

According to TVLine, Hanks will play a young ancient artifacts expert who is tied to a series of murders in Miami. The role was no included in some casting breakdowns that came out last week.

Hanks, son of Oscar-winner Tom Hanks, recently starred in Fox's 'The Good Guys.' He had a recurring role on AMC's 'Mad Men' and starred opposite Jack Black in the cult flick 'Orange County.'

Showtime has also released the first teaser for 'Dexter' season 6. Watch it below.

Well, that trailer was generally uninformative, aside from the line, "You made me what I am today." The "First Official Trailer" linked at the end of the video showed a bunch of toys amongst a teddy bear wrapped in plastic. It looks like season six will have a ton of back-story.
