Its okay for guys to father children by plenty of different moms and not take care of them and live off welfare...its ok for illegal immagrents to come here and pop out kids just for an anchor, but its not ok for a family who supports themselfs to live how they want.

I just saw this show for the first time and I have to say that after the first minute and a half, I shut it off. cmcclarty- you make a very good point. Anyone who wastes their time with this bullshit is a sad sack that obviously just wants to pacify their own problems( perhaps cheating on their partner). I personally think that Kody is a ******* pig and he needs to be enlightened with an orgy that only one woman attends and him and three other men attend. Maybe a dick up his ass a few times will make him change his mind about his disgusting life style. What a ******* pig. A woman would be clearly considered a ***** so ya know what he's a damn ******* skanky man *****. The only reason why this is on the air is because people will do anything to listen to what they want to hear and shut off what they really need to hear. Ignorance is bliss. Enjoy your blissfulness.

You folks that think this is ok let me toss this one out there. If the woman gets with the guy and they tie the knot what if she want 4 husbands would that be ok then? You know that you would be calling her a ***** and a slut. Remember its a double edge sword. Think about it.

I tend to agree with the general consensus I see on this board...they are to my knowledge doing nothing wrong at all in the least, except possibly, by some narrow government standards, breaking some obscure Utah laws? I personally tend to be a live and let live type of person even though I am a registered republican and conservative person, with a libertarian outlook on life! from what I have seen of this show these people are a well rounded bunch who take better care of their kids and each other than most American families seem to be able to do? I say to the doo gooders, try going after all the illegal alliens, anchor baby momma's and the drug addicted welfare cheats out there...that will keep you busy for a few years?

Polygamy is being supposedly legally married to more than one person. Now, from what I see, he is only legally married to one woman. There is a reason he is leaving the state, and anyone who thinks otherwise is naive. They will likely be checking all of the marriage records, etc., and may be checking welfare and social services records. He is making a good amount of money for that show, and if any one of those 'wives' are collecting social services benefits, somebody (at least 2) are in hot water. Skimming social services in this lifestyle is common, as is all other sorts of abuses. Please folks, before you run to their rescue because they aren't 'hurting anybody' google this lifestyle and get an eye full. He is leaving for a reason, probably one that will land him in a lot of trouble, so don't think he's leaving for persecution. If he is not married to any of the other women on state paperwork (like he walked into the courthouse and married the rest of them with the State's not knowing he was already married), then he is leaving for another legal reason. It could be anything, but innocent people who are just living an alternative lifestyle typically don't uproot this many people and essentially run.

Leave these people alone ....this is their life your messing with and the kids , they are hurting now one .....since when in such a free country can you not have more then one girlfriend and 1 wife and lots of children . He takes care of his kids and sister wives.I can take you to many Major cities in this country and show you so many dead beat dads,who have lots of kids ,by so many girls and they live off the welfare system. That leaves the tax payer taking care of the kids and their mother's . I also know so many Illegal's in this country who are having anchor babies and we are taking care of them . Ya wanna know whats wrong with this country , It's thing's like this .Spending our tax dollars going after people who do no harm, and allowing the Illegal's to milk of our system . And allowing people who use and abuse drugs in this country ,to collect federal money and not drug test them.Agian our system is so Broken ,something's need to change and change soon.
Again leave this Family alone and go spend the tax dollars on doing the right thing and get these Illegal's out of our country who are stealing from our children in the school system and many other thing's they are taking from this country who are entitled to not them.

I'm confused. They allow Polygamy in Utah. The founder of the mormon church had 6 wives and nearly 50 children. What the heck are they picking on them for? The Law in Utah didn't arrest Warren Jeffs.

Does anyone know how supports his family? Does he have a job?

Even if they leave and warrants are issued against them in Utah, they would have to come back to stand trial.

I don't know how they file income tax, but it would be interesting to see. He is never in the same household
probably longer then a week, that's probably why he got the fourth wife, so he would have a even amount of sleep-over time with each woman,.

I don't see where this group is breaking the law. I saw a man on TV who had 14 kids by 11 women, also men who have two girls friends pregnant at the same time. Go after them. Leave these people be, if they don't seek
welfare and are doing this on their own, keep a low profile, keep their homes clean, provide for the children,where are they breaking the law? What right do they have to take the children away? I felt sorry for the older children especially the young man who cried, he would have to leave every friends, school, this is not right.

Kody has it made, seems like he is always taking a trip with one of these women, just think 4 honeymoons, 4 wedding anniversary's, 4 vacations, 4 I'm depressed trips and so on..

leave them alone, and go after the deadbeat parents who do NOT support their children!
