Spoilers Anonymous: 'Fringe,' 'Gossip Girl,' and More!

by Isabelle Carreau, posted May 10th 2011 1:00PM
Spoilers Anonymous logo This is Spoilers Anonymous, a weekly column here at TV Squad where we supply you with the dirt on some of the more popular shows on the air. We'll never put spoilers up here on the main page in order to help the reformed stay unspoiled. If you have anything to add to the group, feel free to step up and let yourself be heard, either with our tips form or by emailing us. Your anonymity is guaranteed, if you wish to remain as such.

This week we have spoilers for: 'Californication,' 'Dexter,' 'Fringe,' 'Glee,' 'Gossip Girl,' 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent,' 'Parks & Recreation' and 'The Closer.'

'Californication'
Camilla Luddington, who starred in 'William & Kate' as Kate Middleton, will appear in eight episodes of the series as a nanny hired to take care of Charlie and Marcy's baby. It wouldn't be surprising if she spends a night or two either with Charlie or Hank ... or Marcy! [Source: XfinityTV]

'Dexter'
Colin Hanks is joining the show next season for what is described to be a major storyline. Sadly, no details have leaked about his role yet, but considering it's Colin Hanks we are talking about, it'll surely be good. Could he end up being one of the murderers that Dexter pursues? Or maybe a recurring character who'll end up being a victim? I would prefer the former over the latter -- playing a dark character would be quite different from most of the TV and movie roles Hanks has played. Stay tuned to 'Spoilers Anonymous' in the coming weeks -- if details are released for Hanks' role, I will share them with you all. [Source: TVLINE]

'Fringe'
I don't know about you, but the 'Fringe' season finale had me say "OMG!WTF?" when the end credits started to roll! Luckily, we do not have to wait until September to get some answers ... or at least a hint at what's to come. The show's Powers That Be are not talking about Peter's status but they confirmed that the room within the Statue of Liberty will serve as a sort of portal where people can cross to and from "over here" and "over there." Does that mean that each side will bury the hatchet and start working hand in hand in order to find a way to save both worlds? Oh and about Peter ... not to worry, Joshua Jackson will be back next season. [Source: TVLINE]

'Glee'
The May 24 season finale will feature the single 'Still Got Tonight' from Matthew Morrison's album (that's Mr. Schuester for us 'Glee' fans). The scene where Morrison will sing his song sees Mr. Schuester entering a Broadway theater and singing alone. [Source: The Hollywood Reporter]

'Gossip Girl'
This is probably the best TV news of the day: Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr will not be part of the fifth season! Their characters -- Jenny and Vanessa, respectively -- haven't had good storylines recently, and they keep being sort of a fifth wheel in every scene they are in. However, since both characters are linked to the remaining cast (especially Jenny), both could guest star here and there next season. Kaylee DeFer, who plays Serena and Eric's cousin will return next season as a series regular. [Source: TVLINE]

'Law & Order: Criminal Intent'
After a stint on 'Castle' a few weeks ago, Adrian Pasdar is now heading to 'Criminal Intent.' Pasdar "will play a wine collector named Mason Kent" in an episode that will be titled 'Trophy Wine.' Also appearing in the episode is 'Mad Men's' Bryan Batt, who will play a "premiere wine sommelier." Both will be suspects of the week when a wine expert dies of a heart attack. [Source: TV Guide]

'Parks and Recreation'
A lot will happen in the upcoming episodes. Entertainment Weekly says that there will be "a death somewhere in the final two episodes." Let's hope it will be a pet or maybe one of the possums wrecking havoc on the city's golf course and not one of the characters. EW.com also reports that "someone else besides Leslie gets a crush on Ben." Things could get really interesting if that someone turns out to be Ann, as the friends would be battling to get the same man! [Source: Entertainment Weekly]

'The Closer'
Adam Arkin will play "a businessman convicted in a massive federal fraud trial and sued by former employees and investors from whom he stole" in an episode titled 'To Serve with Love.' [Source: TV Guide]
