Exclusive 'Extreme Couponing' Preview: Coupons and Kids Don't Mix (VIDEO)

by Maggie Furlong, posted May 11th 2011 4:15PM
Extreme Couponing'Extreme Couponing' has an extreme message for you aspiring savers out there: coupons and kids don't mix.

In this exclusive clip of tonight's episode (Wed., May 11, 9PM ET on TLC), mother of four Amber is stressed when the babysitter cancels, forcing her to take the children along for her big grocery store run.

Yes, we all realize that kids love to grab sugary cereals and treats -- things that may not be discounted -- but they also appear to slow down the entire process of shopping and saving in bulk, even when they get their own baskets.

Take a look and tell us: Do you have time to make grocery shopping a babysitter-worthy event? Is it worth the savings to have to schedule a run to the store?

They ask for your zip code to provide ones that match the products in your local Target and "Printapons" and other online sources. Be sure to check out the websites of your favorite products often has coupons

I've watched all of these shows and still don't know how to do it. They gloss over it so quickly.

Extreme Couponing- LOVE IT! or HATE IT!

It's here to stay. People always want to save money! But is it always about the money, or is it about sharing savings, meeting new friends, being able to give away more, showing off your stock pile. Maybe it's just about shopping with a system, I like it. My wife is an Extreme Couponer in Training, she is also developing a webiste. COMING SOON! www.ExtremeCouponingLessons.com which will connect people who want to learn with people who want to teach. I am sure it will become a good spot to exchange knowledge, but will also become a place to meet new people who have the same interests.
