Since so many of you care what the judges think, here is what Steven Tyler had to say to Ryan Seacrest on Eonline the night Haley performed Earth Song...

"Randy's not a singer...She nailed it. She used her voice just the way she was supposed to...she delivered it like the blue plate special, it was just so good...it showed she had emotion, and it showed she could sing...(Randy and J-Lo trying to throw her under the bus) pissed me off...the best singers have character...If you watch Reinhart up there, every bad comment she gets, it rolls right off, that's how good she is..."

Haley was later signed to Interscope by Jimmy Iovine, and instead of rushing out an album by recording on tour like Scotty and Lauren did, the label allowed her to wait until the tour was over. There have been some very enthusiastic tweets from the producers and songwriters working with her.

If you've been paying attention, you may have seen a preview of "Baby It's Cold Outside" performed by her and Casey that will be released soon.

That preview spurred Grammy-Award winner Irvin Mayfield Jr -- who has a Jazz Club in New Orleans -- to extend an invitation to Haley the other day to perform with him at Carnegie Hall next October. He was already familiar with her because Haley jammed with him onstage at his club back in September.

Past Idols like Adam and Melinda and Jackie Tohn have all marveled at what Haley can effortlessly do with her voice. Some of you describe the changes in her voice as "pitchy" but those changes are intentional. You're not used to them because few others can do them. She is nearly always pitch perfect.

Jackie Tohn: "That girl is a ridiculous singer. I can't even put my brain...like, when you're a singer, you have to, like, go there in your head, like 'Can I go there, can I... oh I kind of know I can't do that.' She doesn't even have that. Like, she just goes anywhere she tries."

In other words, those of you who think this girl can't sing, are wrong.

Obviously, we are watching two different haley's perform because haley reinhart can sing her heart out. She is extrememly talented and she was not being critisized by those judges, she was being bullied. I respect her immensly for sticking up for herself, though I understand most people have very small brains and will take that one minute and a half camera time and judge her character on it completely. The judge's are getting paid millions for this, they could at least offer some substantial help not "that was not good dawg" or "mad awful dawg". I have to say I have very little respect for the judges this year, they are pretty much completly useless. With that in mind, haley had amazing standout performances and lauren and scottys were always very mediocre. These contestants were guiding themselves throughout the competition with little help from the judges. For that, I believe Lauren and Scotty could be amazing performers but are young and needed guidance. Haley, is at a much higher level right now. And to everyone who says she can't sing- you make it on top 3 of american idol and then i will be able to take your opinion seriously.

Love Haley. She is a TRUe PERFORMER. she will go places no doubt. Probably song writers out there right now, calling her! She will have some Gold records no doubt! Love Scotty too! Lauren is sweet and all. to young. She has her entire life ahead of her. She is not even legal to sign a piece pf paper!? Bad choice if she wins! I want to hear Haly and Scottie Sing, "I Told you So". the one that Randy Travis and Carrie Underwood sang. they would knock that song out of the park!!!!!!! gooooooooooooooooooo Haley!!!

also think this thing has been rigged for Hailey for some time. I mean COME ON! There is NO WAY people voted for her over James! Also what is up with her getting to close the show 3 OF THE LAST 4 WEEKS?! And she was ALL kinds of pitchy last night. Her 1st Zeppelin song was AWEFUL! And that mess got a standing O from the 2 male judges?? People don't vote for that kind of junk, or her other unknown songs she has sung each week. She is conceited and argues with the judges. And who is she going to be as a singer? (as the judges told most everyone else each week). She has sung weird Jazz tunes, pop rock, Country, and now that James is gone: hard rock. Maybe she's been doing "extra" performances for Jimmy Ivine and the men judges and crew?? She sure acts all flirty with him and Steven Tyler. Something's fishy about this whole process this year.. GIVE IS SIMON BACK! He would have chewed Hailey up and spit her out a long time ago.

I hope she leaves this week, she is only good half of the time, and I can't stand her grunting
