'Something Pitchy:' It's an 'American Idol' Therapy Session!

WOW! It's amazing how you all know Haley so well that you can go and call her a brat. She stood up for herself because Randy was being an ass and giving her unnecessary criticism. How can you all say she doesn't take criticism well when she's been taking it in for weeks and weeks? I don't blame her for her attitude. Haley's the only one who's been IMPROVING in this competition and she's way better than the Country Kiddies. Haley's got the best voice and her performances are interesting. There's a big difference between 'constructive criticism' and 'unnecessary criticism", and Haley's been getting the latter. I hope Haley wins,she deserves it. Stop calling her a spoilt brat when you don't KNOW her. And really? AN ATTITUDE? SO WHAT IF SHE HAS AN ATTITUDE?Everybody has an attitude for God's sakes! The judges obviously don't like her and don't want her in the finale when she clearly deserves it.. Lauren and Scotty are overrated- They aren't that good. Lauren doesn't have the confidence to work in the industry and Scotty is just boring. Haley's amazing, she gives personality, she's got the best voice and her performances are amazing. I do NOT want to watch a pathetically boring "McLaina" finale...

Shut it down!

It's called "constructive criticism". This is something the judges are supposed to do. Has everyone forgotten that is part of their job? What's with the back talk from Haley? I dont' agree with that at all. She's a young nit-wit that thinks she's knows everything. With that attitude, she won't get far in the industry. Where is Simon when you need him?

Hailey Reinhart should have been eliminated a long time ago. Pia, Stefano, Jacob and Casey are much better singers. I am upset that James was eliminated as well. Hailey can't sing all that great so why is she being overrated. No doubt she is pitchy. She can't even play an instrument. She doesn't know how to give a show like James did. James is definitely an entertainer. Pia should have been number one but unfortunately life is not fair. I guess Hailey sexy outfits won her votes and powerful admirers that can change the cards around. I already know she is the winner because she was the primary driver in the FORD car. The clues are there, therefore, American Idol votes are lies. As soon as I saw Jacob coming down the stairs in the FORD commercial, it was his downfall for him in a subliminal message and the same with PIA. Poor PIA was placed on the side as an unimportant person. People be ready because Hailey will be the winner. I know in my heart she will never win a grammy. I will never buy her records. She has a ugly attitude. Okay she was criticized by two judges but she should have been humble about it. She was cocky because she knows she is winning.

I agree with Something Pitchy. I am afraid Haley will be gone this week. She's been thrown under the bus so often, she should be suing the judges for road burn. Don't get the James Durbin vibe--he's more pitchy than anyone on the entire show, but is never called out for it. Have the judges signed contracts that state they must be on the James train no matter how bad he is. At this point I would guess it's Scotty's show.

I agree that Haley is being unfairly singled out for hateful critism. BUT, her reaction was not good. If anyone remembers back to season 5, Simon absolutely HATED Taylor Hicks and really critized about 80% of his performances. Taylor just stood there and took it with a sorta smile on his face. Of course Simon was critical of other singers that season so it was not as unfair as the treatment of Haley.

Randy and the beautiful Lopez had no idea what they were talking about with Haley last night.
I trust their harsh comments will not influence their choice. If it weren't for audio enhancements,
Jennifer would never be able to record anything. It is a good thing she is good looking, cause
she really can't sing. How can they give screamer, James, great reviews every week when most
of what he does is scream a song. Maybe it is time for new judges.

One of the most difficult things in life is to take criticism. Some can and some cannot. I've always felt that if you are going to make it in anything in life you need to listen to your heart but you need to listen to those who can give you input in areas where you are blind sided to. How else will you learn for one. The other thing is, it is better to start training yourself to take these criticisms now and prepare for the outside world, take it with a grain of salt as my Dad always told me, but more importantly don't act out in anger but in determination to prove your worth. Not in disrespect or sarcasm either because then you are giving in to a title of being a "Diva" or a "Spoiled Brat". Take from it what you can instead and spread your wings and soar, because God has blessed you in an incredible way that is meant to be shared and appreciated by others.
