Will Ferrell Bids a Fond Farewell to Meredith Vieira (VIDEO)

On 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM ET on NBC), Will Ferrell bid a fond farewell to Meredith Vieira, who's set to leave the morning show next month. But before he did so, the two reminisced about a 'Today' segment in 2007 where he dropped her while ice skating.

"I just want to say, you're welcome," said Ferrell.

"You know, Will, my lawyer has been trying to get in touch with you ever since then and you keep changing your phone number. What is that about?" asked Vieira.

"You know, I'm a guy on the go," Ferrell said. "I'm tough to find."

Then, Vieira praised Ferrell for being "hysterically funny" and "one of the nicest people" she's ever met. Not to be outdone, Ferrell responded, "We will miss you and I'm so sorry you got fired."
